Reservations

Minimum Stay Requirements…properties with the following caveats:

Requires a 3-night minimum stay

  • The Cliff House at Otter Point
  • The Buckhorn Bungalow

All other vacation home rentals require a 2-night minimum stay

All of our properties require a 3-night minimum stay on holidays

Payments

We accept Visa, Visa Debit Cards, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express for payment.

Deposits and Cancellations

We offer a reasonable, but definitive Deposit and Cancellation Policy.

Lodging Deposit:

If your reservation is made more than 30 days in advance of arrival, a 50% deposit is required, and the balance will be charged 30 days prior to your arrival. If your reservation is made within 30 days of arrival, the full amount of your stay is taken as your deposit at the time of your reservation. We recommend travel insurance to protect your vacation investment.

Damage Deposits:

Refundable Damage Deposits apply to all our vacation homes to protect them from unexpected accidents and costly replacements. If you book less than 30 days in advance, the total amount is collected at the time of your booking. If you book more than 30 days in advance, we collect 50% of the room stay, plus tax. The Refundable Damage Deposit and the non-refundable Cleaning Fee are collected with your second payment which is due 30 days prior to your arrival.

Refundable Damage Deposits for all vacation homes are $300, excluding The Cliff House at Otter Point which is $500.

Damage Deposits are refunded after cleaning and inspection, not to exceed 14 days.

Cancellation:

If you cancel your reservation more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund of the deposit. If you cancel your reservation less than 30 days of arrival, you will be charged for the full amount of your reservation. We will make every effort to resell the property for the canceled days. However, you are financially responsible for each night we are unable to rebook. Again, to protect your vacation investment, we recommend purchasing travel insurance.

Fees

Cancellation Fee with a 30-day notice – $30

Extra Person Fee over the Base Rate- $30 per person, per night, plus tax

Cliff House at Otter Point Extra Person Fee over the Base Rate – $45 per person, per night, plus tax and Cleaning Fee of $300

Pets

In our dog-friendly rentals, we allow a maximum of 2-dogs per night, per vacation home. Well-behaved dogs are welcomed with an additional fee of $30 per dog, per night, plus tax.

You are responsible for your pet at all times during your visit with us. We provide you with pet sheets to protect our furniture and linens. Please use them to avoid an excessive Cleaning Fee of $100. Pets are not allowed to be left alone unattended. Please clean up after your pet right away, and always keep your dog on a leash outside your room. You, as the pet owner, are financially responsible for any and all damages caused by your pet, including labor, replacement of materials, and loss of rental income due to damages.

Children

We welcome families in our vacation home rental properties with the following caveats:

  • Due to the proximity of the bluffs to the Cliff House at Otter Point, a “Waiver of Responsibility” must be completed by the parent/guardian of any children under the age of 18 occupying the property. This includes any daily visitors.
  • The Redwood Cottage and the Buckhorn Bungalow are wonderful vacation homes for families with children. The lofts are accessible by secured ladders. It is recommended that anyone sleeping in the lofts are agile and unhindered by physical limitations. We recommend the age for children for the lofts in these homes to be 10 years old and up.

A pack-and-play crib and/or futon mattress can be provided if needed. Please inform us of any additional needs when making your reservation.

Events and Registered Guests

Absolutely no events are allowed at any of our vacation rentals. Please register the number of guests staying so we can properly prepare the home.
